Symonds Yat canoe hire is ideally situated on the banks of the river Wye, amongst what must be some of the prettiest parts of the whole of the river.
The river Wye is considered to be one of the best recreational rivers in England.
 
If you have never been canoeing before, then canoeing with us could not be made easier. Whether you are an individual, family, group of friends or a corporate event we can arrange everything for you. We supply all the equipment you require for your trip, i.e. boats, paddles and buoyancy aids, transport up river can be provided if required.
Prior to your canoeing trip we will give you a short briefing about the river and some tips on how to keep your boats upright and going in a straight line.
Should you require food at lunchtime from one of the pubs then this can be pre-ordered for you, this saves you a lot of time.
We have Canadian canoes that can take up to 4 persons (typically 2 adults and 2 children or 3 adults). They have a maximum weight limit of 40 stone. These boats are ideal for the total novice or for those wishing to go on longer trips, they are capable of taking all your camping equipment & luggage for up to a week canoeing/camping.
